Reinforcement Policy

I. Definition

The reinforcement service for shipments includes bubble wrap and wooden packaging. This service involves wrapping the shipment in bubble wrap or enclosing it in a wooden frame to provide extra protection, ensuring the safety of goods and minimizing risks for fragile or easily deformable items during transportation.

III. Important Notes

• Fragile or Easily Deformable Items: This category includes (but is not limited to) products made of wood, plastic, or items with hollow structures. In general, these are items that are easily damaged by external impacts.

• Extremely Fragile Items: This category includes (but is not limited to) products made of glass (large sheets or glass components), glassware (bottles, light bulbs, etc.), ceramics, porcelain, pottery (cups, plates, vases, sanitary ware, etc.), thin metal items, electronic products such as motherboards and circuit boards. Hollow items made of hard plastic, aluminum, cast iron, or steel, such as suitcases, pipes, buckets, and basins, also fall into this category.

• Reinforcement Costs: Fees for reinforcement are calculated based on each individual shipment. After reinforcement, the size and weight of the package will be remeasured to calculate international shipping fees according to regulations.

• Bubble Wrap Service: Goods will be reinforced by wrapping two layers of bubble wrap to protect the shipment.

• Reinforcement Time: The reinforcement process typically takes 1–2 days, unless unforeseen issues arise.

• Recommendation for Reinforcement Service: For fragile, scratch-prone, or easily deformable goods, we strongly recommend customers choose the reinforcement service to minimize risks. If the customer does not select this service, any damage during shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

• Items Already Reinforced by the Supplier: If customers do not use CamboCargo’s additional reinforcement service and rely solely on the supplier’s packaging, CamboCargo does not guarantee the quality of such reinforcement. Any damage or deformation occurring will not be eligible for claims.

• Extremely Fragile Items: For products made of mirrors, glass, ceramics, porcelain, pottery, or electronic items such as motherboards and circuit boards, even with reinforcement, the risk of damage remains very high. We do not recommend shipping these items. If the customer chooses to ship them, all risks arising during transportation from China to Cambodia, even with reinforcement service, will be borne by the customer.
